Perhaps nothing so epitomized what is wrong with the media as Wolf Blitzer of CNN "reporting" on the war in Iraq, talking not about what had happened but about something that had not happened. No one had yet found weapons of mass destruction, he said, even though it was almost a month since the war began.

The self-assumptions of these "news" creators that are so essential to the mission that they can even act as though they might b privy to everything that occurs--that they can try to appear as informed as consultants instead of outsiders-with-a-view (ONE TINY VIEW, mind you!!)!
I don't know what's been found: I know that these tale-tellers lie. (I do, however, believe every word Olly North says about the war: He speaks from the inside; he knows the dangers of telling too much; and he too loves This Great Nation.) What I do know is that even the generals who don't have the essential NEED....TO....KNOW do not have access to that which these "news" creators claim to absolutely HOLD.
The more people who know a thing, the more potential breaches in security. To non-essentials privy to classified information would be a stupid assult to our security. BY REGULATION, to know a thing: Firstly, one must have an appropriate security clearance...secondly, THEY ... MUST ... HAVE ... A ... NEED ... TO ... KNOW!!!!
These newsmen should have NEITHER! A PV1, 11 Bravo should have more of both requirements than an OUTSIDER!
What makes these little tag-alongs act as though The President, Mr. Colon or any of the generals are telling them everything found????? (That's a rhetorical question: They know very well that what they are telling us is simply a tale they are assuming that they can get away with telling. These agendized, un-American Judas goats know that the first word out there [i.e., NO WEAPONS OF MASS DISTRUCTION] is the word that fools and sheep will believe. They believe that their positions are so pat that they can say anything and not be called on it. With the money and power behind them, unfortunately, that obscene security usually does cover them.)
The arrogance of many of these civilians is shockingly unbelievable--and nausiatingly AGAINST This Nation's best interests.
