I had the happy fortune to meet Maria at the NRA convention here in Orlando on Saturday, and she mentioned this. She said it was a total ambush, but felt she handled it quite well, of which I have no doubt. We both voiced concerns about what ended up on the cutting room floor, though.

Walsh is a socialist anti-gun sort. Civilians should just call 911 vs use a 1911 per his public opinion. It may be a cold thing to say but I won't listen to anyone who couldn't protect their own family tell me how I should protect mine.
