I'm not sure of everything that occurred at the taping, but they are cutting out 10 minutes of the segment tomorrow.
I think it might be easier to go off and counter attack on O'Reilly or Hannity and Colmes, but I would say there may have been incomprehesion at that very time.
I've only been on TV once, but I was too tired to make a ruckus. :) In print articles interviews, I say the most, um, straightforward things.

It wouldn't matter, really. First of all, being on television is not nearly as easy as some people might think. Also, from personal experience (doing the editing), anything can be edited any way you like. If Maria had responded in a way that showed up what had happened ... like, pointed out that the tears just came out of the glass so why didn't the camera show that, and so on, they would simply have cut it and edited it to look like the SASter was pitching a fit about nothing and was just being rude. I think that Maria handled it just right, but now maybe she can get Hannity or someone to have her and the liar on and really let it all hang out. I didn't get to see it, over here visiting in England, but I know that Maria did a bang-up job, and goodonner. I would love it, btw, if someone would loan me their tape of the show! ~el
