(I was going to say the same thing.) The fact that he was on his own property had nothing to do with it. Bowhunting would have kept him out of trouble.

Obviously this man was not a big fan of The Dukes of Hazard.
They were felons and would have gone to jail if in possesion of firearms so they used bows.

The headline is misleading. It should have read "Convicted Felon Sent to Prison for Firearm Possession." What he was doing with the gun is irrelevant.
