Race-baiters
America-haters

Class warfare shrill
Healthcare-welfare shills

Poverty pimps
Black pantsuit-blimps

Ambulance-chasers
Abortion about-facers

Yesterday's Loserman
Rapist's nearest kin

Who will they pick
To get their butt kicked?

Time will tell
Whose con will sell
If we don't watch out
They'll take us all to hell!

North Korea: Another Proof The Planet Has Shifted

Because of the United States President George W. Bush and allies, the planet will never be the same. One ripple affect after another is revealing itself. It is verifiable in in-your-face world events.

The Korean peninsula situation is an immediate result of Iraqi Freedom, as are other global sites. The Korean talks presently taking place are a direct result of the three-week win war in Iraq.

Again, the US-led coalition did not seek the world’s love. As a major spin of the Iraqi war, the coalition demanded and got the world’s respect. Bush and colleagues are determined to see that respect through on major and minor levels. The free, sane world should applaud — loudly, consistently.

With South Korean delegates in Pyongyang demanding that North Korea abandon its nuclear agenda, the critical pressure continues. Washington, of course, is smack in the middle. The result? Pyongyang states it won’t make any guarantees of a nuclear-free North Korea unless Bush guarantees a non-aggression treaty.

Right on, Bush! Right on, US-led coalition! Right on, Iraqi Freedom three-week win war.

Right out, France. Right out, Germany. Right out, Russia. Right out, UN. And stay right out for Iraqi Freedom has proven you are more deterrent than help. You are more frustration than assistance. You are more for your own gain than the liberty of others.

Iraqi Freedom has cut everything in half — the right and the left, the true and the false, the self-giving and the self-serving. The planet shift has taken place and will never return to what it was.

May the world — free and still captive — never forget that it was the tenacity of a President George W. Bush who saw the matter through. Of course, there were the friends, but there would have been no stand-by friends if Bush had not stood alone on principle to see the matter start and finish.

Consequently, South Korea is demanding the North Koreans guarantee a nuclear-free peninsula. The North Koreans, like some others we have found out in recent days, know how to lie in major degree. Such fact is forcing itself out as a sore boil on the globe’s flesh. With that, there surely are those with the power to lance it.

In Beijing last week, a North Korean told a US official that North Korea has atomic weapons that might be tested or sold or used. What would eventuate would all depend on the United States’ response to those facts!

North Korea stated today that it will again reiterate its "new, bold" proposition to the United States, according to South Korean spokesman Shin Eun-sang. South Korean is putting on the pressure at this moment to force North Korean into truth declarations and a pro-anti-nuclear stance; however, North Korea goes back to its statement that it all depends on Washington.

"We made it clear that we can never accept North Korea's possession of nuclear weapons," Shin said. "We emphasized that the North should dismantle nuclear weapons, if it had any, as well as its nuclear facilities," according to the Associated Press.

In other words, it all depends on Bush and colleagues, as much has been depending on Bush and colleagues in the past crucial months due to the planet having shifted markedly because of Bush and colleagues.

Faith's Blossom First

With Easter past
'Tis open wide
E'en more than when
It dawned this year

For Jesus 'live
Within my heart
O'erwhelmed me then
And still holds dear.

My soul is filled
To maximum
With Jesus bold
As blossoms burst

And skies rich blue--
Eternity's run--
So as to hold
Faith's blossom first.

BUSH OUTSMARTS PLANNED PARENTHOOD

United States President George W. Bush outsmarts the pro-choicers and they
are not at all happy about it. Not at all! In quite a snit, actually.

Bush says that the United States needs to kick in more for the anti-AIDS
plague. We have to do what we gotta do. And we can do more.

So Bush sent his proposal to the lawmakers for their hurrah. That should
make everybody happy. Right? Wrong.

Bush’s mortally rightful move will permit AIDS moneys but not in the same
clinic as family planning — or — in other words, where abortion info and
other pro-choice mechanisms are made available.

If a family planning clinic in the middle of Africa wants US AIDS combat
money, for instance, the clinic must build a separate building for the US
AIDS money dissemination.

Now of course all this makes perfect moral sense to those who regard the
baby as a baby--not merely in-the-way tissue. It makes a lot of eternally
ethical sense.

But for those who really don’t care about babies but care about females’
whims, Bush is one more time the bad guy in the alley. Further, he is
underhanded, a cheat with taxpayers’ money and deceitful as all get out.

Pro-choicers claim that the President wants to appear as someone
compassionate regarding the spread of AIDS; but in actuality he is not
compassionate at all. He is merely being opportunistic with a social issue
in order to further his own pro-life agenda.

Well, it all comes down to theology, doesn’t it? And that’s the way this
particular sphere is worked from creation to completion. God fit it that
way. After all, Alpha and Omega is start-and-finish to His own project.

But those not into the God thing don’t get the God theology; therefore,
they don’t get the Bush thing. So, with that, the stalemate continues and
so,
as the liturgy would recite, “world without end.”

Amen.

Good Thursday morning to all gathered here on this Finest thread on this fine day, and to those yet to arrive.

Martin_Fierro, I am sorry to have missed your day in the spotlight yesterday. As one of the "hostesses" of this thread, I should be here every day.....but work keeps getting in the way. Dansy did a great job, as always, with her interview and you have earned your stripes and your place among the "inquisition survivors". LOL. It is a pleasure meeting you.

Grantswank, thank you for the gifts of yourself that you bring with your poetry posts. "Faith's Blossom First" is beautiful.

And, thank you, dutchess, for bringing us John's Two Cents. JH2, once again, right on! And please, keep writing on - we love your two cents!

Our valiant and victorious fighter pilots from the USS Lincoln will be flying into Lemoore Naval Air Station this afternoon. A big family welcome home celebration on the base has been being planned for weeks. It will be thrilling to hear them flying over, knowing that their ten month deployment is finally over and they are home at last.

Interfaith Summit: What is Missing? Evil

How can one find fault with a gathering that holds hands and chants peace peace peace?

What’s wrong with that picture?

Not much, of course. Peace and daffodils in spring and mom’s roast beef dinner — they are all quite nifty. Therefore, gatherings can endorse them without any fear of being kicked in the shins.

So it was that so-called Christian, Muslim and Jewish reps met in Chicago today appealing for the planet to turn to peace. Now isn’t that nice? And will the planet turn to peace?

"In a dark time the eye begins to see. We cannot afford to live in a decade of violence and war," stated Bob Edgar, General Secretary of the theologically liberal National Council of Churches. "We need to come together as we've done at this summit to think broadly about how we can model some new behavior here in the United States, to stand up and speak clearly — an alternative voice to some of those negative fundamentalist voices — and to also urge our colleagues around the world to model that behavior as well," he said, according to UPI.

"We're not going to be a very happy place if for the next century all we do is go to war with each other and think badly of one another. "Of course, the underlining theme that was not all the difficult to get hold of was that United States President George W. Bush is out to lunch when it comes to religious faith and action. Further, he is out to lunch mainly because he listens to and companies with evangelicals and fundamentalists and charismatics—biblically grounded Christians.

Those who travel to an interfaith conclave such as met at the O’Hare Marriott Hotel are theologically on the other side from the biblically-moored evangelicals, fundamentalists and charismatics. Those at the holding-hands-for-peace sing-around are known in religious circles as theological liberals. Their counterparts are theological conservatives.

And when it comes to theological liberals, they simply adore such themes as peace and happiness and children at play, but realities such as evil, sin, Satan and personal accountability before a personal God who appeared in Jesus Christ are the last postulates of religion they would adhere to. In fact, they are not only the last postulates, they are ones that would never be scratched into their doctrinal chart to begin with.

What President Bush kept reiterating before and throughout and following the Iraqi Freedom conflict was the "evil axis" in this world. "Evil" was and still is an oft-repeated term when it came to President Bush’s public speeches. He considers the axis to be an evil that is actual. It is an evil that works from hell’s power. It is an evil overseen by demons who would destroy God’s creation and all living persons.

Theological liberals see the biblically-focused evangelical, fundamentalist and charismatic forthrightness regarding the Bible’s definition of evil as an evil. Therefore, theological liberals spend every ounce of so-called spiritual energy countering anyone who defends a biblical definition of evil.

For instance, there is the dean of a cathedral nearby who has spent much of his adult years fighting the "evil" that will not legitimatize homosexual actions. He defends practicing homosexuality in the name of "diversity." Therefore, those who would disagree with him on biblical grounds are considered an evil presence in our community. They, the biblical definers of "evil," are the enemy, not those who engage in homosexual acts.

And so the beat goes on and on and on. Take whatever moral and ethical issue you would like; when it comes down to defining it as evil or not evil, the theological liberal does not care a flip about the Bible data. The theological liberal cares only for his own politically correct, liberally acceptable definition. Period.

Therefore, when interfaith summits gather such as today’s Chicago’s sing-around for world peace, it is simply another opportunity for the forces of evil to rejoice. Why? Because they, hell’s demonic evils, will not be recognized at all by those at the summit.

Instead, they will be tolerated in the name of "peace" and "happiness for all." Real evils will be sidelined in order to attack the very persons who define "evil" by the biblical definition, hence the summit not being any friend to President Bush and Company.

WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION WHAT??

They're there. Those weapons of mass destruction. They're there. They've
been there for nearly thirty years.

Blind as bats. That's what the world is.

Hussein did not hide his WMD. He had them out there in plain sight. When he
did hide them, everybody around knew about them. That's why everybody
around feared for his skin and so kept mum.

Hussein's WMD have been located by the press. Pix have been snapped of
them--at least their housings. Some of their victims' skulls have surfaced.
One fellow even kissed the cold bald skull of his nephew, weeping with
sorrowful memories of days past.

Hussein had WMD to his neurotic, demonic delight. His sons followed suit,
though in his interview with Dan Rather, Hussein took on the priestly mode.
In fact, Hussein carried with him the priestly mantle in recent years;
therefore, he combined both religion and politics within his one persona.

When persons approached Hussein, they no longer embraced him with kisses to
both sides of his face. Instead, the embrace, being too intimate, was
replaced with a nod to his shoulders--both of them. In that, the one
honoring Hussein acknowledged him as priest who received such distant
homage.

Therefore, when speaking with Rather, Hussein played out his religious,
priestly role by chanting endlessly about his religion, prayer life, the
place of the Koran in his ethic and repeatedly of his being a righteous
father who reared his children in the strict precepts of Islam. In other
words, Rather was sitting before a holy man.

Consequently, when Hussein saw through his WMD, he was seeing through the
judgment of the divine. As priest as well as monarch, he was officiating at
a cleansing of the kingdom.

So it is that the much sought for WMD have been there all along; they were
dismantled during the three-week win war but prior to Iraqi Freedom, they
were daily fare.

The WMD were weapons called "rape," "murder," "imprisonment," "torture,"
and so forth. They were mass in that they covered thirty years and an
entire populace. They were destruction in that they slew human beings by
the untold numbers.

So there are your weapons of mass destruction. They have been in front of
the world's noses for all that awful time. They have been known by the
United Nations leadership. They have been tolerated and emulated by other
Iraqi regimes. They have surely been feared by the Iraqis themselves, the
younger generation knowing no other existence but the fear of Hussein the
Priest and King.

Therefore, when liberals and other anti-Bushites keep making such a
hullabaloo about finding the WMD, I just quake with dismay at the ignorance
of the supposed intelligent.

In addition, history shows us the photographs of those slain in past years
by the priestly king . Therefore, WMD were entities of real truth then;
consequently, they have been a part of this real world since.

When the priestly king knew that the US-led coalition was about to strike,
would not any despot then slide the physical evidence of WMD into another
country, perhaps Syria?

In the meantime, who cares if Blix clones scrub about Iraqi cornfields
scouring for "the evidence"? Such diversion from the maximum jubilation,
that of Iraqis set loose from their cages for the first time in decades.

In any case, the liberation has been an astonishing success in terms of
human civility. No more WMD daily raping, hatcheting, dismembering,
clubbing mortals into the earth. The WMD ceased at the start of the
three-week war, thanks to United States President George W. Bush and
Friends.

Good piece John. The dems are a pretty dreary bunch aren't they? The only thing left to them is the old tired "tax cuts for the wealthy" bit. They'll never figure out that the President hasn't lied to us yet and the public knows it, so their screeches about tax cuts won't hold water. The really smart Democrat would be the one to jump on board with the President and ride the wave in, but there's too much hubris there and it'll never happen, much to their detriment.

THE DAY DAVID TURNED INTO GOLIATH

Goliath roared atop the mountain. He stomped and screamed. He opened up his mouth to show a wagging tongue sucking in the wind. He set his foot astride that summit so as to quake the earth beneath his frame. Goliath threatened. Goliath forecast the end of a people. Goliath pronounced doom upon any who opposed him.

With that, Goliath muscled up his biceps, glared into the faces of his enemies to promise the skies his prowess over all. Goliath was the sum of all his parts. He would obliterate any opposition that dared to stand against his shadow.

David was but a youngster — trim, young, and handsome. He, standing in the valley, was certainly one striking profile to admire; but he certainly was no match for the giant of the summit. David was no match at all. Anyone with one eye that worked could conclude that David — idealistic and bronzed — was still not up to toppling the Goliath. No chance.

Yet it was but a fleck in time that David turned into Goliath, taking on the upper hand, toppling the braggart, standing in his place to hold Goliath’s head in his young hands. It was but in a flash that David stood not only as David but also as the giant of the summit. The entire world was forced to admit the real. No one could contest the David might. No one could argue with the David win.

Not too long ago the United States stood in the valley of this globe. There waved freedom’s flag. There stood the cause for all humans to breathe liberty. There also stood a nation determined to defend its place in the sun — against any Goliath who would do in not only the Twin Towers but all the metropolitan spaces of this country.

There stood the United States, still stunned by its own murdered as they went about their office duties in the center of Manhattan. There stood the United States, determined to get to the root of the madness that would undo a nation’s history. There stood the David of the valley, looking to right, then to the left, refusing to yield to defeat and fear, setting its face toward the sun, settling for nothing but victory over any Goliath about to separate its head from its shoulders.

Goliath strutted. He screamed. He threatened that he would scald the troops. He would spill his venom over into Israel, destroying the geography of the Middle East. He would bring down Armageddon. He would unleash worldwide terror the likes that had never been imagined.

Goliath would make meat of David. Goliath would embarrass any who stood alongside David. Goliath would muster the support of all Europe, especially the cheers of the French, the Russians, and the Germans. Goliath would amass the Arab alliance to twist David into wisps of straw. He would so stomp upon the earth that quakes would rattle from east to west, north to south.

Goliath would so open his poison cauldrons that blood well-known to his own soil would flow into neighboring nations so that they would beg for mercy from the muscled one. He would set loose his murder dens, transporting their horrors into liberty’s own quarters, captivating even those who had enjoyed the breezes of freedom. Goliath would dig his heels into every corner of the world, frightening every nation, lapping up the last vestige of civility for a despot’s last hurrah.

So Goliath spoke. So Goliath stared. So Goliath painted his frame on every corner of the mind.

Yet David would not recant. David felt freedom in his bones. David knew principle would win out over braggadocio. Therefore, David, though holding but a few stones and a sling, stepped up to the challenge. David did not quake. David did not flinch. David did not cower, no matter what the taunts, no matter what the betrayals of those thought to be allies.

David looked to the north. No nation there to support. David looked to the south. No nation there to support. David looked across the globe and found but a Poland, an Australia, an England and collection of other nations so principled. In contrast stood Goliath still, bolstered by the prance and preen of the United Nations Annan entourage, applauded by the jaw-sets of one country after another.

Yet David cared not for the nay-sayers nor the Judas players. David would not forsake the principles of freedom, morality and the human heart. He then stepped forward against what many said was all odds. And in that principled footage, David became Goliath.

At first there were those who thought it to be an illusion. They could not be seeing correctly. Reality was evading them, tricking them into a nightmare bearing. After all, Goliath was to send David into thousands of body bags, utter destruction, boiled skin, global gasses hanging in the atmosphere. Goliath was to have wrung the planet dry.

Instead, David turned into Goliath. David held his sword. David took his head in his hand. David climbed to the summit, standing in the morning breezes to look over the world in victory.

Instead of Goliath stomping the globe into powder, David became Goliath. And remains Goliath still.
