Hmmm, he sources the "Farshores" website which is a 100MegsFree site. Which means its somebodies blog that they don't have even have to pay for. That website sources a "Marco V." who "wrote in" with the info. Who is "Marco V.". What is his last name. Is he an archaeologist? Marco, whoever he is, says that the info has been reported in several newspapers but has not been investigated. What newspapers? As far as I know it could be Weekly World News. Perhaps Marco V. should wait until it IS investigated.
Streiber's other other link is to a tourism site for the region in Italian. I have no idea what the Italian site says, but since its a tourism site, I wouldn't rely on it for archaeological research. I would rely on it for trying to get people to come to that region as tourists.
a lot of people visit his website.
Which means absolutely nothing. Lots of people visit Art Bell, lots of people visit Playboy. That makes it no more authoritative.
Streiber can report anything he wants whether he takes credit or not. I'm merely saying that its info thats not worth a dime until its confirmed by archaeologists.
