"These are serious people looking to improve the world via freedom. They can play the game of golf but choose to play a different game. I find"
If this is true, why are they passing laws that restrict our freedoms and liberties? These people, as with all politicians, are duplicitous. On the one hand, they cite ONE of the reasons for invading Iraq was to "free" the Iraqi people. yet they give their own people "patriot 1 & possibly "patriot 2" along with "homeland" ( sounds european). They do it in the name of a false "security" and the majority of the American people have bought into the lie.
IMO, clauses 5a,b & c, Section 802 of the "patriot" act will the legal justification to stop dissent against the NWO in the future. Keep in mind, Section 802 is the ONLY section that has NO four year expiration date as does the rest of the act!
Don't people realize that the Writ of Habeous Corpus has been rescinded if you are "suspected" of being a terrorist?
These neos are using a magicians trick of mis-direction, which is to say, they have us concentrating on a "police action", which they call a war, while they pass new laws against us. They are using the Constitution as toilet paper.
FTR, I am against big government which is what the neos are giving us. Intrusion into our lives is unacceptable whether it's done by an R, D or Neocon.

"They were Christians and patriots."
As opposed to Jews and traitors I suppose. Man, you people are so incredibly sick.

I suppose he thinks they're "one-worlders/Israel-firsters." ....The myth won't die because these fools don't want it to die.

Now, I was perfectly willing to let him fill in the blank for himself ;)
Anyway, where does that leave someone like me? I'm not Jewish, I don't believe in supporting Israel unless it's in our interest to do so, I'm not a "former Trotskyist" or whatever the background is supposed to be, I'm not a "one-worlder"...and yet, I think that the direction we're taking is exactly the right direction, and the Perles and Wolfowitzes of the world are leading us to do exactly what we should be doing. But despite agreeing with them, I'm apparently unqualified to be a "neo-con" - go figure...

where does that leave someone like me? That leaves you with the (vast) majority of the so-called 'neocons'. What's hilarious is that both paleos and neos are Reaganites. This whole labeling business is just ridiculous.

I agree. At first is was sort of amusing to watch, but now it's getting a bit tiresome, especially since the outcome is hardly in doubt - this is a replay of the mammals versus the dinosaurs, where the dinosaurs happen to be dying in an particularly noisy manner...

Repeal the Lousiana Purchase. It all went wrong when they started admitting more states into the Union in 1791 - let's boot out Vermont and everyone that came after them, and bring us back to our historically accurate and constitutional Union of 13 states...

Time to wake up and smell the coffee.
On second thought, never mind. You could pass a turd under America's collective nose and they wouldn't smell it. (Wouldn't, not couldn't.)

Are you pro- or anti-neoconservative?
Are you saying that the neocons are in reality part of your old bogeyman the dreaded New World Order?
In short, just which brand of coffee should we be smelling after we rouse ourselves from the arms of Morpheus?

The only thing "dangerous" about these Neo-Cons is their stubborn adherence to the fiction that the Dallas Cowboys are still "winners".
This is delusional. And I am one of them.

Kristol's 'Think Tank'The Project for the New American Century is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to a few fundamental propositions: that American leadership is good both for America and for the world; that such leadership requires military strength, diplomatic energy and commitment to moral principle; and that too few political leaders today are making the case for global leadership.
This is one of the groups of the neocon belief and their apparent mission statement.
1997 letter signed by Kristol, Wolfowitz, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Jeb Bush among others
Our aim is to remind Americans of these lessons and to draw their consequences for today. Here are four consequences:
we need to increase defense spending significantly if we are to carry out our global responsibilities today and modernize our armed forces for the future;
we need to strengthen our ties to democratic allies and to challenge regimes hostile to our interests and values;
we need to promote the cause of political and economic freedom abroad;
we need to accept responsibility for America's unique role in preserving and extending an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity, and our principles.
Funny, I thought protecting and defending the Constitution would be in there somewhere....
