My 83 yr old aunt excitedly phoned me this week just to let me know that when MCI called her, she informed the telesalesman in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that she would NEVER ever subscribe to MCI because of Glover's anti-American propaganda!!

We just switched to another carrier. Explanation I gave to our new carrier for the switch to them was because of Danny Glover being MCI's spokesman. Can't wait for MCI to call us as to why we drop them.....

They called me last week and I almost had the guy in tears. He was almost shrieking, trying to tell me that Danny Glover was no longer in their commercials. I retorted, "Well howcome I just saw him in one TODAY?"
Then, when I said that I would never subscribe to a company that pays Danny Glover, he absurdly shrieked, "We don't pay him - he pays US!!! We're USING him!!!"
I hung up at that point, I was so disgusted. Now I wish I'd asked to talk to his supervisor - the guy was incoherent and out of control.
