I have the distinct pleasure to announce that our Governor, the Honorable George E. Pataki, has accepted my offer to join our fraternity and become a Master Mason.
On the cover of the next issue of the EMPIRE STATE MASON will feature him accepting my invitation at our meeting on June 6, 2002. Pictured also will be Brother Kurt Ott, Convention Chairman and Brother William Hetzler, both members of Schiller Lodge in the 9th Manhattan District. Brother William Hetzler is also the Assistant to the Governor for German Affairs and it was through his effort that the meeting was arranged and the Governor agreed to be a member of our beloved fraternity.
Governor Pataki has displayed the kind of leadership and quality in a man that our organization looks for. That leadership was most evident on September 11, 2001 when he was instrumental in helping to restore calm and committing the total resources of New York State to New York city. He activated the New York State National Guard to provide security for our airports, bridges, tunnels and waterways. My daughter Danielle and I personally met with him in New York City with families of the rescue workers who were missing at the time. Everyone commented favorably on the Governor’s leadership and support during the World Trade Center disaster.
As soon as I have received the date from the Governor I will exercise one of the prerogatives of a Grand Master, and make Governor George E. Pataki a “Mason at Sight,” in accordance with Section 216 of our Masonic Law. I will be sending a special announcement to all lodges and expect maximum attendance to witness this historic event, the likes of which has not taken place in the last 133 years in New York. After his initiation there will be a public ceremony at Grand Lodge, to which the press will be invited, to announce that the Governor has been made a Mason.
Sincerely,
M.·. W.·. Carl J. Fitje
Grand Master
Next time you're before a judge for any reason, just raise your secret middle finger straight up and repeat those words and the judge will dismiss your case.
Here's another power phrase that will get you through tough neighborhoods without injury: 'YOMMMA ETSWRMS.' (Be sure to shout it very loudly and a path will clear for you.)
And here's a simple magic spell that will make your enemies smile and do your bidding:
During a dangerous encounter, say 'OWA,TUNA,SIAM' six times very quickly and take a bow, remaining in the 'bowed' position until your enemy shows their appreciation and offers you a token of their esteem.
There! Now aren't you glad you hung around until you learned some of that secret stuff?
But wait! There's more! . . . . . . .
Pataki should be fine, then.
Now you see why we are having trouble communicating? You are using words that don't exist.
If you mean I am in a twitter, then re-read your own posts to see who is the one doing the babbling.
that is not true.
i also disagree with your previous assessment that catholics are blind fundamentalists. there is quite a bit of thoughtful philosophy which has arisen from the catholic church, from st. augustine to teilhard de chardin. fundamentalist baptists, now there you may be on to something.
here in chile masons are even (enthusiastically!) hired to teach philosophy at catholic seminaries run by monks.
this in spite of the fact that in chile masons are in a titanic struggle for influence against the real catholic version of the masons, which isn't the knights of columbus, rather is the laic opus dei the pope's SS shock troops (whose founder was just recently given sainthood).
i know of many cases where masons are not promoted or hired in companies run by a member of the opus dei, while at least some priests here in chile have become much more open minded about these things and admire principles and virtue wherever it is found.
Oh golly, Miss Molly, but I bet we don't want to know what that "token" might be, do we? LOL
BTW, "You're all atwit" is a W.C.Fields line. Catch up.
Considering Fields' lifelong condition of drunkeness, this doesn't reflect very well on your lodge.
Do you guys in your lodge stand on your right foot and hold your left foot in the air when saying your ******oath? Or do you stand on your left foot, and hold your right foot in the air, when saying the previously referenced ******oath?
that is not true.
Says who? You only. Go read some Canon Law. "Catholic" Masons are punished with automatic excommunication.

Teilhard de Chardin's "thoughtful philsophy" was censored and placed on the Index of Prohbitied Book due to its heresy. Catholics must be "blind fundementalists" as you put it, to the extent that holding the faith requires believing in inflexible and unchanging dogmas.

It just goes to show you the depths of depravity in today's Church.

I'm glad you can acknowledge the Masons are struggling against the faithful elements of the Church, of which Opus Dei is a stellar example.

I would behave the same way. I'd never knowingly employ or work with a Freemason. I guess "at least some priests" in Chile are simply rebel heretics.
I will ignore your slur against French Priests, who have been some of the worlds greatest missionaries.
