Unfortunately, George Orwell didn't get to find out if that was true in his own case...he died in his 40s.
Hmmmm...I think Orwell is wrong on that one. Lots of really bad bad people have nice looking faces, and some of the kindest souls I've ever known are ugly as sin on the outside. And many folks look good because they've never had too much stress. Pampered people (especially rich ones) who can buy the best of medical care and beauty care will look good regardless of their values. Just a sad fact of life.
