I already cancelled my trip to the Cannes Film Festival and my week on the French Riviera after that. There'll be no more Paris in the springtime for me any time soon, either.
I've also decided to forego my yearly boat trip down the Rhine River and I tore up my ticket for "Die Fleidermaus" at the Munich Opera on New Year's Eve.
Now, I'm happy to say that I'll not be going to London during high season either, even though the Queen has invited me for tea and a fox hunt in Nottingham Forest.
No one can say I'm not giving my all for the patriotic cause.

Its a shame you feel you dont want to visit our country as many brits would have given you a warm welcome.
Sadly, at times such as this the extremists such as "red ken" always come out of the woodwork, to shame us.

Thanks for the link - my eldest daughter is smitten by the Beatles (and Elvis) so I got her a Fodor's of Britain for Christmas - of course we'd do Liverpool (not much there) but planned to cover what we could - now ...? My email:
Sirs,
Wed been planning a summer trip to England and planned to see all the sites we could in 3 weeks. Ive been to Portugal, Spain, Italy, Morrocco and France but never to England. In support of PM Tony Blair wed planned to spend our entire holiday in England.
Now Londons mayor, Red Ken (is it?) has embarrassed himself and insulted our president.
Please feel free to email me a source for his apology absent that well look elsewhere to vacation.
So sorry,
(Tunehead54)

Humor, dear sir (or madam).....humor with a touch of satire and irony. I am very much an Anglophile and always have been.
My British cousin and his wife live in the Chingford/Epping Forest area. He's a second-tier basso profundo with Covent Garden. He's also a horticulturist and I've seen photos of his Victorian-style greenhouse and beautiful, unique English garden. So you can see why I'd like to visit him one of these days.
But not till he gets a computer and the present London mayor is confined to the Tower.

To tell the truth, Ernie, I plan to take any vacations in the good ole U. S. of A. to do my teeny part in helping our own economy and our President.
Last year and also in a few weeks, my choice is the "FReeps Ahoy" Caribbean cruise which benefits our own Free Republic Network. I can't think of a better way to spend my few discretionary shekels and have a great time doing so.

Who is your favorite investigative reporter or opinion writer? We should all try to get these people to write articles on the legitimacy of the Bush Presidency and stop all this leftist myth. There was so much fraud during that election - ALL coming from Democratic precincts, they must be exposed once and for all and stop this idiocy and misinformation about George Bush.
As for London's Mayor Ken Livingstone, he obviously was one of those on Saddams payroll or maybe Tom Daschles. IDIOT!

I like those people too; maybe Fred Barns will do an article in his American Spectator, a jewel of a little magazine. I will contact him.

"He is not the legitimate president." <<
Why, because he "lost the popular vote"? How many britions voted for that old bag to be "head of state"? Heck, how many actually VOTED for Tony Blair to be head of Paraliment? Oh yeah, England is a MONARCHY and therefore leaves a bunch of inbred dukes and earls get to decide who runs the country, not the people. Great system, so many fine rulers like Henry VIII, George III, Victorian, and of course, Neville Chamberlein.

It is past time for London to elect a new mayor and not one, who loves the mass murdering Jihadists:

So Mayor of London Livingstone says President Bush is the "greatest threat to life on the planet", huh?
Is it any wonder who puts these ridiculous ideas in his head?

Well, the mayor was singing a different tune after the bombings.....
Has the mayor changed his innermost beliefs?
Maybe may18 is still around to give us some insights.

This clown got an email from me while I still was on AOL complaining about his attacks on GW. Since then I have left AOL and MSM.
