The president added: "You know, I did feel the presence of God amongst my friends on Air Force One." But some Republican strategists expressed concern privately that the incident might strike secular-minded voters as a blurring of the line between church and state.

I still don't get why people would be all upset over a voluntary service on a government airplane. This stupidiy run wild.

My theory is that there are NO Republicans expressing this opinion. This is simply the opinion of the writer, who is mystified by people of faith.

Also, I do not think that Karen Hughes' Palm Sunday sermon was about the President's poll numbers. How very Beltway to interpret Palm Sunday that way. Bah!
