I learned about being frugal from my grandmother who immigrated. She took it to the nth degree though... I am not as brave as she was. She would wear an old breadbag in the shower, instead of a shower cap, because a shower cap would cost money, a bread bag is FREE. She was always good for a chuckle, but died with a great deal of money, never had to sponge off the government or her family. God bless her.
