Please go ask an American Indian (yes, they prefer that to 'Native American') if they were "here first" before talking to folks from south of the border. Remarkably, the earlier a particular US Citizen's ancestors arrived, the greater the possibility that they also share native lineage. Many so called "white" or "Anglo" Americans whom "La Raza" and other insurgent Marxist "Latino" racial identity politics groups deride, are themselves "Mestizos" in the classical sense of the word. What a crock it is to bring race into this discussion. It's not about race, it's about borders, language and culture.
