Fourth Amendment:
"...[N]o warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

"a warrant that allowed them to search all the units at 3629 Olinville Ave"

A warrant is supposed to describe exactly where is to be searched and on what grounds. Here is a building with 4 apartments. Unless it was one perp holed up in 4 apartments what kind of an asshole of a judge signed the warrant?

But is gets better:
"An NYPD spokesperson said that cops stand by their decision to raid the building, and noted that two simultaneous raids in the same neighborhood both uncovered drug dealing and led to seven arrests."

So it was justified to raid one building ( with 4 different apartments) because you later found out that raids "in the same neighboorhood" were fruitful?

Sure seems like a lot of fruitless action in the WOD. The WOT is of course entirely secret so there appears to be no action at all. These "mistakes" in the WOD have to stop. How many such mis-identifications have happened since, say, the first of the year, or since Monday morning and how many actual drug vendors have been shut down?
