Hmmm...is it alright for a dependent to drop in and say "hello?" If not, well, I'll use the following: lol!
MARINE WIVES & MOMS
(And you thought a spouse was a civilian...)
When Daddy's away, I'm the Commanding Officer.
When Daddy's home, I'm the Executive Officer, coordinating and executing actions for the Command Team.
Keeping track of the kids, I'm the S-1.
Collecting the neighborhood news and relaying it to my Marine husband, I'm the S-2.
Making plans for the whole family and training the kids, I'm the S-3.
Stocking food and supplies for the family, I'm the S-4.
I answer all the family correspondence and make appointments for my betrothed; that makes me the Adjutant.
Worrying about the family budget makes me the Comptroller.
Paying the bills, and accounting to my husband for the paychecks makes me Disbursing.
Looking for a new place to live when we move, I'm like Billeting!
Assigning the kids' chores, getting them fed, bathed, and put to bed; I'm their First Sergeant.
Carrying small children, I'm the ammunition handler.
Driving the family to all of our appointments, makes me the duty driver.
Looking like a queen when I'm escorted to USMC functions, like the Ball, I'm a Marine's lady.
Heck, let's just face facts here...I'm really the whole darn Marine Corps!
