Sorry, I think the Peterson's and Geragos are a bunch of 5150s.....

All I can say, I have seen what happens to people in divorce cases. relationships that don't quit until you see the light bulb click on at the end, other family member distress cases, and the bottom line, I can tell just exactly the stresses the Rocha's are going thru, pure hell!

and the crazed notion of actions Jackie, Lee Peterson and the Geragos/McAllister teams are doing, pure shameless. Maybe that explains why McAllister hangs his head long when in these court hearings. What SOBs....

At least Sharon and family won't be charged with double murder for taking Laci's things. Scotty won't need them. No matter if legal or not legal, I am very glad Sharon got some of Laci's things. If the Petersons weren't insane she would have probably been happy with a few things. my guess is she would puke looking at anything that was truly just Scott's.

Well, the fact that you included the word "probably" in the above statement suggests that perhaps there is.....but the mob mentality that I've seen on these threads has given me cause to wonder. It seems to me that if Scott Peterson is guilty, he will in all likelihood be tried, convicted and sentenced in due time. I'm willing to wait for that......some here apparently are not.

Sharon Rocha has lost her daughter and grandson and at the rate Geragos is going maybe her sanity. I just pray she will be given the strength to deal with all the other evil things this defense has yet to unleash on us.

Don't know...Good question....But how would the Rocha's know where the jewelry was unless Laci told them? Don't think Scott would tell them IMHO!

1/2 interest is in the house itself...Other interests like personal possessions do not necessarily become Scott's but may be divided among her heirs. It likely depends whether there is a will stating all goes to Scott.

you know, I resized it, and zoomed it up... pixels become distorted, but it seems to me, she is wearing a ring. There is a dark shadow, spot, between the little finger,and then the middle finger sort of over laps the ring finger, sort of covering some, but zooming it up, there may be a gold band, the image has a color change near there, that I think is on her finger. She is wearing her watch, and braclet, for this pic.... She does look as many state when pregnant, puffy....

Ummm, only say that because that doesn't happen to all pregnant moms to be.

What is so horrible is that there's going to be 2 more years of this.....and then there will be another ordeal: the trial. My heart goes out to the Rochas. For them it's not this continuing horror, but there will be the rest of their lives w/out Laci and little Connor.

Even if the property is Laci's and not joint property, I would think her will, or probate court would decide where it goes. Parents do not automatically have a claim on children's belongings. When Scott is found guilty that would obviously impact any joint property or anything called out in Laci's will (if one exists).

This was theft, even if done for what appears to be a good purpose.

Yeah, I don't see how it makes any difference, unless, for example she WAS killed in that house, and we later find that Laci's family removed something that could have and should have been used as evidence...

Now, I would think that anything in that house is unusable as evidence. And what if Scott Peterson says he has some kind of proof that clears him that used to be in the house? If I were in Scott Peterson and his lawyer's position, I'd be thrilled.

How can they take anything before it's probated?
