The discussion has quickly degenerated into DU-type la-la land. Snap out of it!
Bush again has let the enemy hang itself with its own rope. His road to peace was a challenge to the Palestinians. Sharon agreed with bush on the strategy by accepting the road map. Predictably the Palestinians were not serious about land for peace and started the blood letting again. Now the entire world saw who started the fighting again.
A lot of people even in FR have criticized Bush for the road map and said that it will cost the Republicans the Jewish vote. Now you all can see that by violating the road map, this gave Sharon the needed moral high ground to go ahead and wipe out Hamas!

Forgiveness for some brings utter condemnation for others.
Once one is apt to forgive, one is apt to see the unforgiven.
Israel is not demanding this liquidation and utter condemnation and damnation of the terrorists, Israel is forgiving, and this act of forgiveness and love brings with it the existence of the its opposite, of the option to apply its opposite, the utter condemnation, inevitably.

Coop, I don't know how familiar you are with the historical period from 1931-1945. In 1931 a guy named hitler came into power in the Weimar republic (germany).
He had control of the schools between 1931-1939 where he controlled the education of what had been a "Christian" nation. By Sept. 1939, he had corrupted the young people of Germany so that these "young" people would willingly use machine guns on women holding babies in their arms.
Remember this bit of history??? Arafat has been brainwashing the Jordanian arabs that call themselves "palestinians" for 3 GENERATIONS, so that not only will the kids blow themselves up, but the parents of these wackos are proud of them doing it. They teach this in pre-school. So, my thought is if the child has been to pre-school, it is already too late to save them.

Whoa whoa. I don't necessarily agree. The messages of George W. Bush and the continent are
not the same.
I don't agree with Bush's recent criticism after the initial attack, though I believe I know his reasoning behind the same. I certainly believe his motives and message--even criticism he aims at Israel--are not the same as the anti-Semites of Europe.

I remember something else about the history of Germany from 1933-1945. They had a theory about Jews that went like this: "nits breed lice."
So they killed all the Jews they could get their hands on, from the old men and women who couldn't get out of bed, to the tiny babies just born.
Remember?
To: Fee
By now both sides should be so exhausted that they would want a settlement The islaminazis only want the extermination of the Jews. They will never live peacefully with the Jews, never. The only way this will ever be settled is to kick the muslims out of Israel, which Israel will never do (to bad).
To: StolarStorm
Actually, it would be more historically accurate to say Tecumseh Sherman would be proud.

Yes, I remember that aspect of the period. I have a friend who as a young girl at the end of W.W. II had a young 10 year old German boy placed with her family in Michigan to "de-nazify" him. He told her it was his "duty" as a good German to kill all the Jews and Americans. He was removed from the house when he was caught chasing her with a 15" chef's knife, intending to kill her, then her parents. Brainwashing the young works.

So true. Have you seen the videos of their kindergarten classes. A cute little 4 year girl is singing how when she goes to Jeruselem she wants to be a suicide bomber and cover the sands in Zionist blood. These are the nursery rymes they are raised on.
I saw all this on worldnetdaily.com a couple of years ago. Things have gotten worse since then.
Or how bout the guy in Germany in a demonstration he had his 3 or 4 year old daughter dressed as a suicide (homicide) bomber. He was arrested and sentenced for doing it. It's against the law there to incite riots and hate crimes.(I guess they just don't go into the Mosque)

So you're saying I should pump four bullets into the head of three-year child so she won't grow up and shoot me?
I didn't see anyone here advocate the "targeting" of children. Unfortunately the cowardly terrorists have no problem using them as shields.
Remember in Viet Nam how they would give grenades to children and send them into a crowd of GI's asking for chocolates, I don't believe we targeted children then either. Our guys just got a lot more cautious in their proximity to civilians.

Israel really needs to stick to this! They should publish a warning that any man, woman, or child within a quarter mile of an Hamas member is in danger of annilation.

I have read it...
Let's hope Israel doesn't end up like Tamar.....
Bringing cakes of peace and then getting raped...

We don't want that. what squander all the love they have for us?
To: BabsC
Yes, it is quite a stretch to automatically label someone that doesn't adhere to a misguided sense of sympathy for the supporters and families of terrorist a mass murderer stalking day care centers

Why would Sharon promise Bush that Arafat would not be killed? He should have been killed long, long ago. If anyone needs killing, it's himBecause if you kill him you've got a martyr who is far more powerful dead then he is alive. Nope, better to make him irrelevant.

Now you get it! Welcome aboard.
