Hockey should be played on natural ice and viewed by natural light. There is talk that the Canadiens will play at least one game outdoors next season.

What a way to go out for David Robinson. The guys has the most class and character of any pro athlete that has ever played the game.
Note to our friends in LA and Detroit: San Antonio will not be looted and rioted like your cities. Our fans care about their city.
GO Spurs GO!

I completely forgot about tonight's game.
Duh!
I suppose it's fitting.....the entire NBA playoffs was a forgettable experience.

There is talk that the Canadiens will play at least one game outdoors next season. I bet the Dallas Stars won't.

Oh, yeah, yeah, okay, but it would have been the Mavs if Dirk hadn't gotten hurt.
Or, as Dan Meredith used to say, "if ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas."
Oh, well.

Oh, was there a basketball game on tonight? (yawn)

Actually, the Edmonton Oilers have made the arrangements to play outdoors in a stadium. I'm not sure who the opponent will be but I believe that they've persuaded Gretzky to play in an old-timer's game before the game.

Well at least the Spurs used to play in Dallas at one time. They used to be the Dallas Chaparrals.

He's been asked that question many times and has responded that he wouldn't do anything that would make him compromise his values - so the answer is no. Robinson is a true role model.

I like the photos you post but you are completely wrong about the finals. You missed an extraordinary game tonight.

I heard that Robinson might retire. If so, this would be a great way to go out.

I demand pictures. If you didn't get screen shots then you'll need to get out the trusty crayons ...... ;-)

I had the privilege of seeing David play a game during his senior year at Navy. He was a class act then and remains so to this day. I'm glad he got this championship and I wish him the best in the future.
