The Spurs are a joke. My Portland Trail Blazers would have won it all if we had shot better, played better D, and stayed out of jail.

Coulda been worse...Nelly's "#1" for example?

I am not familiar with that song. Nothing I have witnessed was worse than when the Florida Marlins beat the Cleveland Indians in an extra inning Game 7 in Miami in the 1997 World Series. After Edgar Renteria's single soared over the outstretched glove of Tribe pitcher Charles Nagy bringing in the winning run, the ProPlayer Stadium PA system played Ace of Base's "It's a Beautiful Life."

They're halfway to matching the Buffalo Bills.

I was surprised (but not really when I thought about it) that David Robinson and his wife donated $11,000,000 (yes million) to help setup/kick-off The Carver Academy which among many other things :Focuses on the highest levels of leadership, integrity, initiative and discipline based upon a foundation of Judeo-Christian scripture and values.

Also, I like the Spurs' coach a lot, not just because he is an Air Force Academy grad and former intelligence officer, but because he considers his graduation from the Academy to be his highest achievement, even today. He is an incredibly hard worker, and seems to surround himself with classy people. Tim Duncan as well, is a class-act.

You just do not find that many sports stars that your children could look up to.

What I liked about all of this was the announcers kept saying the Good Guys won! David Robinson is class all the way and so glad to see him go out on top!
