But Indian is more acceptable than Black/White in Evanston and 'heck' even still to this day in America. People do not believe there should be 'race' mixing. Most posts I have read here are about nationalities. The people who took offense either are bi-racial black/white or have children that are. Try taking your daughter down to Alabama if she is black/white.

I always was offended on the birth certificates back in the 70's, that if you were neither black or white,the birth certificate had 'other' to check off. My daughter is not an 'Other'. My grandkids are not "Others" and these kids go through enough hell with their own identities and do not need this race antagonism.

Yes, maybe most of you here are 'mutts' due to your nationality, but it hurts those that are also called Zebras ,which is a whole other ballgame.
