Also a Harley, capable of about 105 but it would probably blow up at that speed after about 10 minutes.Nope.. I can get 118 out of mine and if I draft my pardner I get 122mph. Been there. Done that. And another thing, there is so much going on at 118 on my Electraglide FLHTC that I usually settle in at 100 and "style" down the road. :-)
But it likes 85 the best. :-)

got 115 out of my old dresser. It was stock so I fixed it to go little faster.
Harley's are harder to blow because of the size of the engine and the pistons in particular. Old shovel engines are purported to be bulletproof too.
Regardless of what you ride there is only one universal truth, keep the rubber side down.

Had a 94 softail over 105, with a passenger on the back..so, Yes, 118 is def Possible.
