But rights are the things that our Creator has chosen to vouchsafe to us that we may claim. No more, no less. That's the attitude that the Declaration of Independence took.

Surely the creator was not such a profound practical jokester as to vouchsafe this thing called rights for us, and then fail to tell us specifically what they are... was he?

What are those rights? Where did the creator define them for us?
