Ummmm, let's see .... elections in 2004. The public opinion on the war in Iraq is being twisted and turned by the press. That's the ONLY thing that could backfire on GW. Why risk the election on this? It can be handled AFTER the election is over.

After the election is over, President Bush will have no reason whatsoever to concern himself with this, because he'll not be standing for election ever again. You don't really think GWB has some profoundly intense conviction against same-sex marriage or homosexuality in general, do you? His actions indicate otherwise.

Well, you have a good point. However, I don't think the democRAT/press trick of twisting and turning are going to work this time. Oh, they'll give it a good try, for sure, but America is waking up to the tricks of the media, as well as the power-hungry drone of the democRATS. Therefore, I don't think Iraq will backfire on Bush.

If I were running for President, I don't think I would risk alienating all of the decent people with family values, for a small percentage to promote a perverted lifestyle. It seems that in this day and time the tail wagging the dog has become the norm. But, it's about time to give the dog his tail-wagging priviledges back again.

Just how far are we going to let these whiney, special interest groups go in their quest to dominate the rest of us. Perhaps, someone will get a law passed that will fine, or jail, us who DO NOT perform homosexual acts.

I would just stick to the decent and moral way, if I were running. Doing backflips everytime a special interest group, or the media, decides to whine is a bad way to manage. Remember the story about the boy, his Dad, and the Donkey...in the end, trying to please everyone, they wound up carrying the Donkey. Perfect example...the Donkey (read:ass) being the symbol for the demoncRATS.
