If these were going to just be taking pictures for violators, I might buy into it. They are getting us used to cameras so they can track our every move. Hell, read the articles about the new tracking system they say is going to be used in foreign nations. Bull sheist! Which nation has the most percapita cars? Can't you just see the 100 cars per day traffic in Iraq being tracked down those dessert highways? LMAO

All Camcorders have a video output jack. Just connect it to your VCR recorder and copy the images that you have taken.
Remember, Camcorders are designed so that even a Democrat can us it. Obviously, it must be super easy to use and copy your images.

Infrared photo. Still photography I know about, video, I'm clueless. It is very difficult to deal with infrared film. Must be kept frozen. Camera must be COMPLETELY light tight. Care must be excercised in the handling of the film camera AND in processing. VERY difficult medium to handle. Any info you could give on a good all-around VHS camcorder would be appreciated.

A polarized filter over the camera lens will defeat thisToo complicated...install a UV/Black Lite tube above you licence plate and keep it on. You will never have any problems with those pesky cameras.

It's not about stopping speeders. It's about raising revenues.

In the short term, but I think we'll be tracked soon enough. They want to know where you are every second. And soon they will.

It is very difficult to deal with infrared film. Must be kept frozen. That IR image was taken with a Sony camcorder and a little knowledge. I just had to laugh, since I had invented one of the methods of obtaining those images.
Relax and contact me by private freeper mail if needed. Seriously, any camcorder purchased at your local store will meet your requirements.

It's not about stopping speeders. It's about raising revenues. In Sacramento, the company that installed, operated, and profited on the red-light camers. Was found to have fraudently mis-timed nearly all of the camers. This boosted their profits tremendously. The County, had to reverse all tickets, at a substantial cost.
A good portion of the local cops take the front license plates off of their personal cars.

HAL9000, your post was very interesting. Not much else that we can say about it.
Please excuse us, if the thread diverted into another topic.

"From a police perspective, I think it's irresponsible for anyone to use a device that would defeat our system so they could essentially speed in residential areas and school zones," Lamb said."Bull crackers. The cameras are at intersections with lights ... waiting for red light violations, not speeders.

Oh wow. The technology has advanced so much I'm completely out of touch.

The taxi drivers in Taipei did one better. During the night they stopped their cars and beat the offendig cameras to death with metal pipes and hammers. LOL Pretty effective. Also, some cameras were fakes put in to warn drivers.. The locals always knew where the fake one were located.

I myself sometimes speed past the posted limit, but am willing to accept the consequences to my actions rather than cry and whine about them, or decry self-governing laws established for general safety.
Perhaps your mayor and city councilmembers came out of a UFO to conquer the hapless populace and enslave them?

Anything (short of defacing them) that defeats these cameras I support.
