Something about coffee being a stimulant but with those kids it had the opposite, a calming effect. So true. As a tyke I could take on gallons of Coca-Cola with no problem. Now I drink a single glass and I am too annoyingly buzzed to sleep for almost 24 hours.

I agree with you HiTech, but it has gotten down to a "last word in" situation. If JV drops the subject by not responding, he may find that on something else we agree. Otherwise he may find that this can go on for months. Attacking sentence structure is a sign of hopelessness so maybe he'll give up; )

I would suggest that kids are restless because of the dyslexia, not the ADD. In other words, help them to cope with the one, and the other doesn't exist.
