DEMS WITH GUNS

The Hartford Courant reported Wednesday that almost the entire field of Democratic Presidential hopefuls are more gun-friendly than any field in recent memory. Joe Lieberman now says he "never supported" Al Gore's 2000 proposal to license new handguns.
When asked about guns, John Kerry notes that he's been hunting since the age of 8. Howard Dean -- the most pro-gun of the Democratic field -- wants to "keep the background checks and the ban on assault weapons ... but [otherwise] let states do what they want." Even peace candidate Dennis Kucinich describes himself as "sensitive to guns" and supports "gun laws that in no way interfere with hunters."
In a recent debate, only Al Sharpton said he supports the licensing and registration of handguns. Pro-gun control groups are obviously disappointed with these candidates

Dennis the Menace voted gun grabber every time. John Sandinista voted typical Massachusetts lib on guns. Joe Liberman is two faced on the issue. Edwards sucks. Gephardt is a gun grabbing weasel that voted anti on all the bills until the main one is up, then runs to the hills. Even Dean is worse than Bush(who is a gun moderate at BEST) on this issue.

You had me scared for a minute.
Do you think that any of them really know how to shoot?
They only reason this is even half a story is because their message is not getting out.
They should scream a little louder. More shrill so the sheeple will pay attention and follow their rant.
That's it.

The former President disembarks from his airplane after a trip back to Arkansas. Although the hoopla is less now that he is out of office, Clinton still occasionally finds himself greeted by military personnel. This is one such occasion. He climbs down the stairs, carrying two huge pigs, one under each arm. He gets to the bottom, and nods his head in return to the soldier's salute. "Son, what do you think about these?" he says. "Nice pigs, SIR!" comes the reply. Clinton gets mildly miffed and lectures, "I'll have you know these aren't just pigs but the finest of Arkansas Razorbacks. Top notch. I got one for Hillary, and one for Chelsea. What do you think about that?" "Nice trade, SIR! |

but [otherwise] let states do what they want. Hey Howard, I have a great idea. How about letting people do what they want?

They are terrified of this issue. Gun owners mobilize, vote, and care nothing for party loyalty or candidate loyalty. Like pro-lifers (which many of them are as well) they vote only the issue. I can identify with that thinking.
The gun debate in this country is at a stalemate. No new gun control measures can pass, but existing gun control measures cannot be rolled back.

No new gun control measures can pass, but existing gun control measures cannot be rolled back. Federally, I agree.
Statewide, it depends on where. Some places we are winning, others losing.

It's sad that the sheeple listen to these idiots pro-hunting comments. I hunt too, but that ain't what 2A is all about. This is straight out of the Rat party platform. It mentions hunter's and sportsmen's right to have firearms, but no one else. It's part of their divide and conquer strategy. Separate the sportsman from those who possess weapons for self defense and other reasons. Any hunters who think the Rats will not eventually try to take their firearms need to reacquaint themselves with what Martin Niemoller had to say.
To: sofloridian
Yeah, sure. That's what they say now. But let the S.O.B.'s get into the executive office and we'll have Brady II on the agenda so fast it'll make your teeth spin.

Anyone who thinks that the second amendment is about duck hunting probably thinks that the first amendment is about the right to play Scrabble.

B.S.
The Dems have NO intention of lettin the AW ban stand as is...they have already re-written it
and plan on subsituting their new version with new sweeping restrictions....as soon as it comes up for renewal...
They will never ever tell the truth on their agenda to disarm every American except the elite

Not me...not for a second. These men are paid, professional liars, every single one. At least rhymin' reverend is half way honest about his intentions on this. Every single one of them would sign legislation banning gun ownership in a second if they were in power.

Ahhh! What a fine brace of liars. Any, real, sportsman would be proud to bag these magnificent frauds with their puffed-up heads and $200.00 a cut manes. Unfortunately, shooting down the stupidity these weeners spout make clubbing baby seals seem more sportsmanlike.
What can I say that the entire world doesn't know about Joe LIE-berman. Check his mighty record on gun issues. A true chanmpion of 2A rights.
John "I'm a mighty Nimrod" Kerry. The only thing Kerry has been hunting since the age of eight is a concrete identity and a fat bankroll. At least the weener has found the ketchup.
Dean and Kucinich, well, what can I say? I'd sooner trust Barney Franks with a troop of Boy Scouts than those Bolsheviks with 2A issues. Got to love the brass, though. Unfortunately for these frauds, I think a better use for brass is in shell casings.
Only brother Al speaks the truth. Only brother Al is unafraid because he knows he doesn't have a snowball's chance. The last honest man in the RAT Party.
I'm waiting to read the article where they all fall over themselves to oppose abortion, support homeschooling, favor reduced federal government, propose deep tax cuts, clamor for much greater defense spending and reduced social programs and, finally, slashing support for the gay lobby.
Well, scratch the last thought. That would be like cutting their own throats.

This doesn't surprise me. If you go to RKBA threads on "the other site", it seems like a good portion of DUmbasses are pro-2nd Amendment, if not wrong on everything else.
