***Democrats Are About To See Trap They set for GWB Close On Themselves***
Sunday Shows | Stardate: 0307.13

Posted on 07/13/2003 8:25:32 AM PDT by The Wizard

In a little noticed warning a few weeks ago, Sen. Warner let slip a comment that he had seen evidence of WMD that wiuld convince anyone about the propriety of the President's actions....

Today on Fox, NSA Dir. Rice pointed out that the British Government still stands behind their comments about Africa.....

The democrats and their lapdogs in the media, always a week or two behind this President, are still trying to prevent GWB from getting any air time for his great victories with Blacks in Africa, and have trotted out old NAALCP Infume to blast the President as well.

But soon the trap will spring shut, and it's going to be fun to watch

Over the next few weeks, Tony Blair is going to show that what GWB said was true, making the dimwits look like the political hacks they are, and shortly after that, I cannot report when, the WMD report that is being prepared by our new Cheif investigator, (David, former UN investigator) will prove that WMD programs and the weapons theemselves have been found.......

That day the news will be so over powering that even the lapdogs will turn on their dimwit masters to protect their own credibility, and start asking why we were lead to believe that the democrats were right telling them WMD wouldn't be found, (you see, behind the scenes the dimwits have had to swear that these weapons wouldn't be found to get the media to go along)

That is going to make the firworks of this 4th of July look pale, and I cannot wait.......

Well ... I saw a thread here about Gebhardt appearing on This Week and saying that he SAW more than enough intel from his briefings in congress to be more than confident that there are WMD's in Iraq. The other dems are hemming and hawing!

I think this comes from the fact that the other night, Scarborough made his "real deal" a scorching diatribe on the people who are making the claims of "no WMD" - and calling them out because they are all on intel committees, foreign relations committees, and leadership positions which would have allowed them to have access to tons of intel information. Gebhardt was one of the people Scarborough listed - guess Gebhardt decided to tell the truth - the others are still spewing their talking points.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot - Pat Roberts said the same thing when he got back from the trip to Iraq.

You are right on. If Bush is proven right, the media will report on the larvae invasion in Southern Turkey. They will concoct something to take up their air time. Theser dolts and liars in the press never admit mistakes. They are too good at making them to do that.

Today's Gospel seemed to have some relevance to the plans of our administration: -

(I hope you don't think I am being facetious - So many Catholics, especially clergy, seem to have decided to act like Quakers, that I am taking this passage as a message that cleaning up the Middle East is a good thing!)

***

Gospel Mk 6:7-13

Jesus summoned the Twelve and began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over unclean spirits.... So they went off and preached repentance. The Twelve drove out many demons, and they anointed with oil many who were sick and cured them

I believe you're right. The money and time being poured into this bullshit "misleader.org" campaign is going to be truly, truly wasted in a big way.

And I think it is hilarious.

That's always fun to watch.

Do you remember (the last time) when Dick Gephardt blamed the Perky Katie Couric for his asking of Bush "what did he know and when did he know it" of 9/11? See the MRC archives:

6) Dick Gephardt’s impugning of President Bush by using “what did he know and when did he know it” language was Katie Couric’s fault. Morton Kondracke reported Monday night on FNC that “the Gephardt people” are blaming his rhetoric on his simply mimicking what he heard Couric proclaim that morning on NBC’s Today.

Thanks LS for a good outline prayer for our countries leaders, and to remember to also to pray that our enemies are bound.

I try to pray nightly with my kids, and to teach them to
think outside of their own little world.

I believe there are a couple of potent factors arguing for a backfire of possibly monumental proportions:

1- the Left no longer monopolizes the flow of information-- the web, talk radio, and the blogs are all uniting to bypass their former lock on the national conversation.

2- all Presidents enjoy a great reservoir of good will from the American people in general- he, whoever he is, is "their guy in Washington," and they want him to do well, and be well-thought of. People who gratuitously slam and slander the President do so at their own peril.

You've often steered well, O Man Behind the Curtain, but on this one, I'm waitin' and a'seein'. Methinks the Dems don't *need* any traps.

Plus I don't care 'bout the dang WMDs. Sure, sure, fine for PR, but me? Personally, don't care. The political capital gained would be large, yes, but I think most polling data is showing people not only have forgotten about WMDs, but also the entire Iraq war (so much Scott Peterson news, so little time...), heh.

But...I'll keep my ears open, despite my recent decision to tune out, turn off, and drop in. ;-)

Thank you! BTW, your name: I was a 6-9 cup drinker a day until I had heart palpatations two months ago while on vacation. They ran every test in the book, and concluded, "give up the caffeine." Since then, it has been strong and steady.

That's all those "jobs" that are going "overseas" with the deficits---which means that Japanese and German and French money is being used to build plants here, because their economies SUCK!

Interesting also, that ONE time when Jesus sent them out, He told them not to take money (which means all the other times they took wads of cash) and not to take swords. Uh oh. I guess the disciples were packin' all the other times.
