Well, Greenspan said we don't need manufacturing jobs and I guess that we don't need tech jobs either. Did Sir Alan happen to mention which jobs it is that he thinks we ought to keep? Oh, government jobs -- I see. We're all going to work for the government. Nice!

"The reality is that we live in a global economy and we compete against global players. We need to look at where we have strategic advantage -- whether it's resources or skills," Pryor said. "It frees up people and dollars to do much more value-added strategic things for clients." Supporting globalization...It frees them up to flip burgers or greet shoppers at Wal-Mart.

Are there management consulting firms in India?
If so, how much money can a business save by spending money with "Raji & Associates" instead of with "Bain & Company".
I think I'm going to write the Board of Dell and request that executives be outsourced to India. Just think of the potential dividends and revenue savings to be realized by chopping off a big chunk of executive salaries!
Wow! All of my underwater Dell stock might even recover enough to unload!

Bob Pryor, who heads the outsourcing practice of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, said it's "naive" to think outsourcing software jobs could ruin America's tech dominance
Doesn't this yo-yo see his job is in line to be next ?
I wonder how America can have tech dominance, when the technicians are idle ?

Any one who gets a degree in computer science or engineering is dumber than a stick. Same goes for any major/job that can be outsourced.
