[history]
The president didn't lie, but Democrats and the media sure seem to be trying to mislead the public into believing he did.
It is difficult to understand how President Bush's State of the Union speech in January misled any members of Congress to support the joint resolution authorizing the war when the vote on the congressional resolution was in October, three months earlier.

Short, but to the point, hitting all the issues.

Right on -- more evidence that Pres Bush didn't mislead us on Iraq was the op name -- Operation Iraqi Freedom, not Operation Nuke Hunt.
Stupid Democrats...I've heard of digging your own coffin but the Democrats really take the cake. They're using a ditch digger to dig as fast as possible!

LOL.
There was an article the other day about how the Democrats slogan for 2004 should be "Bring back Saddam". Maybe Tariq Aziz could help arrange a special appearance by Saddam at the Democrat convention endorsing the Democrat candidate.
The Democrat certainly deserve that, after all, they are going out of their way to encourage the Baathists attacking our troops in Iraq, by bashing Bush.

If our president was really out to mislead us, wouldn't he have "found" WOMD even if they had to be planted? The fact that they haven't been planted is a clear indication of his honesty.

LOL....I'll email them the suggestion.

Ann Coulter made a great point last week on Fox News, some Democrat consultant hack was babbling on about this, she reminded him that the State of the Union Address was in January if they were so disturbed by al this, why did they authorize force?

Good writing and valid points.
New Orleans hasn't beaten Los Angeles yet though(check my tag line.)
I wonder if anyone ever did a comparison of the lives lost during the Vietnam era; that is, those lost in battle versus the same age group lost to other causes.

A Rat friend of mine admitted to me the other day that it doesn't really matter what course Bush takes, or if we find any WMD. He'll be attacked mercilessly regardless, although from different angles. Thankfully the President realizes this and is just doing what needs to be done, ignoring the nay-sayers and serial bashers.

Exactly!
While every life is precious, here we liberated a country and we only had less than 150 casualties. This is a phenomenal achievement.
I think one of the reasons the Dems keep harping on everything they can think of, even if they will be proven (or have been proven) wrong, is that it fills up the media, and keeps them from reporting on Bush's successes. Just as the Baghdad museum looting story filled the headlines, instead of "US Victory! Iraq liberated by US!"

He'll be attacked mercilessly regardless, With the dems, that's a given: Got no dirt? Make it up! Got no scandal? Investigate anyway! Got no ideas? Promise anything but never deliver!

Since Nixon, democrats can not stand for a Republican to do anything that is considered right. They are so far left now that we don't have to worry. I say in 2004 Bush wins in a landslide.Bush will win hands down.

60 Murders in Oakland California, so far this year, plus all of the regular fatal car accidents. It looks safe in Irag.

Let's assume the Dummycraps and the leftist media sway fickle public opinion into a tizzy against the president and they were to get their way toward impeachment or winning the 2004 election.
Do these dumbasses actually believe they could keep the truth of the matter from ever rising back to the top and swallowing them up? I'd be willing to bet that if they succeeded, it wouldn't be 6 months before the truth about WMD and everything the Bush White House told us existed began turning up & SOMEONE would have serious egg all over their traitorous faces.
Can you say "2nd American Revolution"?

Good points. Does anybody seriously believe that if it had been Gore or Clinton doing this, that these Dem scoundrels would be jumping up and down screaming about presidential lying. It's all politics. If Gore had done what Bush has done, all these donkey poltroons would be petitioning to have his name carved on Mt. Rushmore.

Hitting the points? Answer these points:>p>1. We screamed at the UN to reinsert the weapons inspectors...we won and the inspectors spent four mobhs scouring the countryside and turned up no WMD. Everyone but the UK and US felt more time should be allowed to conduct the weapons searches...we invade!
2. Bush states that Iraq sought to procure uranium from Africa...unsubstantiated yet a state of the union address topic?
3. "We will topple the regime"...where is SadAss, his sons, the regime? Is our intel so shoddy that we can't locate him? (or bin Laden for that matter...but that's another issue.)
4. Where are the WMD, the biochem weapons, etc.? Imean, we "knew" they were there...where are they?
5. We "liberated" Iraq? Really? Why did it take 12 years to do that and why are we still remaining in the country without and exit plan?
It's politics, folks...dirty politics and the sheeple are simply following the folks in DC blindly.
