Carlos Eduardo Valladares-Guillen, 24, of Wixom, was arraigned Friday on charges that he threw the family kitten out the window of his car.

A stupid move. No foreigner charged with any crime should be released before trial, IMO. That's why we have hundreds of thousands of 'absconder' deportees running loose around the country.

If convicted, Valladares-Guillen ought to face capital punishment to send a message to the rest of these loathsome squatters. What an ugly case this is.

To be honest, when one lives in a country where people fight for the right to continue to puncture babies' skulls and drain their brains for cash, I just can't get that worked up. This guy comes from a culture where, heartbreakingly, life is worth even less. Maybe the kitten got under his foot for the last time "So-help-me-God!". I don't know, and I don't care. Illegal immigrants brutally raped a woman over the course of hours in the Bronx, in a pit of human waste; they'll get less press and fewer calls for deportation.

AGREED, this guy looks like a real piece of work. It probably amused him to kill the poor cat that way, he'll be beating the heck out of the wife and kid next.

My most recent thoughts on immigration are focused on how the crime rate started to rise in the 1960's, this is often said to be due to the increasing use of illegal drugs. I have never bought that as an explanation, it's always seemed a bit too pat for me. It has occured to me that the upturn in crime coincides with increased immigration and a change in the nature of immigrants due to the Ted Kennedy sponsored bill in 1965. We should never have undermined our culture and society the way we did, by importing those from countries who do not share our Anglo-Saxon values.

You know, I could say a lot more about what I've been thinking, but I'd probably end up in a cell next to Mr. Kitten Killer, and that would not be a good thing.
