The word for "Kill" used in the Ten Commandments translates to "murder" and has nothing to do with war or punishment.

There are many God-directed, righteous wars in the Old Testament, some where God ordered the children of Israel to kill every man, woman and child in a town or tribe because the following generations would stalk and menace them forever.

Both Hebrew and Aramaic have multiple words for the same thing (such as "love") and you need to go back to the original text to clarify.

In war, people die for a cause; many of which are lost ones. Most of our wars have nothing to do with God at all. Our wars serve for an ecomonic purpose and the ones profitting from it are the international bankers.

The Middle East has been plagued with wars since the biblical time. They will never change. There will never be peace in the Middle East. Never! For the United States to play world police to the Middle East is setting the stage for Armageddon.

You are probably right when you say that that there many God-directed wars, righteous wars. Perhaps the End of Days is much nearer than I realized. God Bless.
