I've read that they had made attempts to disguise themselves. I wonder how this will 'play' with the Iraqi people.

Tonight it was reported on our news that Tariq Aziz was one of the people that identified the bodies.

**NPR snotty liberal bias alert!**
Listening to NPR on my homeward commute today, I heard Guy Raz say something like "the Pentagon announced that it would be releasing photos of the dead Uday and Qusay, even though it had complained when Iraq aired pictures of dead U.S. soldiers."
It was such a snide little barb and oh so typical of NPR. I wanted to take off my shoe and beat the radio speaker, but I resisted the urge (as I almost always do) and it passed.
Did anyone else hear this?

If Rumsfield decides this is the best option, I stand behind his proven record, and his greater ability to make the correct choice.
I am not a Bushbot, but I see no reason to second guess Rumsfield.

I believe viewing by a dozen leaders wouldn't hurt..Perhaps a world wide tour is in order, starting in North Korea.

Because he was not the only one to identify them and they had identifying marks on the one who had used a can to walk with and dental records were used for the other one.
Aziz isn't dumb -- he wants to live and being helpful is one way to do it!

Heck, even for the locals. Everyone in Iraq probably lost a friend or a loved one to these butchers, or knows someone who did.

Nice work on the pictures. The troops look like they're enjoying the fireworks -- from a safe distance, for a change. Payback is a b-tch.
