My comment is that I believe this rally could very well be a defining moment in the future of this country. I pray the people of Alabama will take a strong stand in support of the Commandments and Judge Moore. I would like to see 10s of thousands of people attend this rally. I pray Judge Moore wins his appeal to the US Supreme Court and they rule in his favor. (but looking at the latest rulings from the Supremes, one has to wonder!) I appeal to the good people in AL and surrounding states to attend. LET'S SEE 100,000 at this most important rally!

What is the Governor of the state of Alabama saying?
Will he support the Federal Ruling, or defend his own state constitution which states that Alabama state law is based on God's law?

This rally could be a defining moment in the future of Judge Moore's political career - just the way he wanted.
As for his Supreme Court appeal, any idea why he didn't ask the District Court for a continued stay? The District Court was pretty clear that he'd get it if he just asked. Even called him up to look into it. But he didn't ask. Of course, he wouldn't have the opportunity for a confrontation if the stay were continued.

I heard the Judge today on the Hannity radio show. I don't live anywhere around there, but I'll pray my heart out for this guy. He's not only a rightous man, but a true patriot.

God bless all of you. Symbolically, the ACLU wants to take down the Ten Commandments from our culture and replace them with...what? The mind of Man. And we know from history how well that typically works out.

OCTOBER 13 1884 - POPE LEO XIII
Pope Leo XIII was just finishing Mass. As he turned to walk away from the
Tabernacle, he collapsed. Those present were afraid for his life, thinking he was
dead. When he came to, he shared what he had experienced in a vision. (This
event precursed by 33 years - to the day - the sun dancing in the heavens at Fatima.)
+
THE VISION
He heard noise in front of the Tabernacle . It was a confrontation between Jesus
and Satan. Satan told Jesus if given time and enough power, he would destroy
the Church. Jesus asked in return, 'How much time and how much power?'
Satan's reply was one century and more influence over those who would follow
him. The Holy Father said he heard Jesus say "So be it." And the 20th century
was given to Satan as a time of testing. The Holy Father was so shaken he began
to combat this vision with many things. 3 of which follow:
+
RESPONSE
He wrote
PRAYER TO ST MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL
Original - Prayer to St. Michael
O Glorious Archangel St. Michael, Prince of the heavenly host, be our defense in the terrible
warfare which we carry on against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of
darkness, spirits of evil. Come to the aid of man, whom God created immortal, made in His own
image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil.
Fight this day the battle of the Lord, together with the holy angels, as already thou hast fought the
leader of the proud angels, Lucifer, and his apostate host, who were powerless to resist thee, nor
was there place for them any longer in heaven. That cruel, that ancient serpent, who is called the
devil or Satan who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss with his angels. Behold, this
primeval enemy and slayer of men has taken courage. Transformed into an angel of light, he
wanders about with all the multitude of wicked spirits, invading the earth in order to blot out the
name of God and of His Christ, to seize upon, slay and cast into eternal perdition souls destined
for the crown of eternal glory. This wicked dragon pours out, as a most impure flood, the venom
of his malice on men of depraved mind and corrupt heart, the spirit of lying, of impiety, of
blasphemy, and the pestilent breath of impurity, and of every vice and iniquity. These most crafty
enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the
immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place
itself, where has been set up the See of the most holy Peter and the Chair of Truth for the light of
the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that
when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered.
Arise then, O invincible Prince, bring help against the attacks of the lost spirits to the people of
God, and give them the victory. They venerate thee as their protector and patron; in thee holy
Church glories as her defense against the malicious power of hell; to thee has God entrusted the
souls of men to be established in heavenly beatitude. Oh, pray to the God of peace that He may
put Satan under our feet, so far conquered that he may no longer be able to hold men in captivity
and harm the Church. Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, so that they may quickly
conciliate the mercies of the Lord; and beating down the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the
devil and Satan, do thou again make him captive in the abyss, that he may no longer seduce the
nations. Amen.
Verse: Behold the Cross of the Lord; be scattered ye hostile powers.
Response: The Lion of the tribe of Juda has conquered the root of David.
Verse: Let Thy mercies be upon us, O Lord.
Response: As we have hoped in Thee.
Verse: O Lord, hear my prayer.
Response: And let my cry come unto Thee.
Let us pray.
O God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon Thy holy name, and as supplicants we
implore Thy clemency, that by the intercession of Mary, ever Virgin immaculate and our Mother,
and of the glorious Archangel St. Michael, Thou wouldst deign to help us against Satan and all
other unclean spirits, who wander about the world for the injury of the human race and the ruin of
souls. Amen.
Pope Leo XIII had a vision from God when he collapsed at the altar during Mass. He afterwards
wrote the following prayer which is in the Raccolta of May 1934.

"The fight for freedom is God's fight. Freedom is a law of God, a permanent law. Men cannot break it with impunity. They can only break themselves upon it. When a man stands for freedom, he stands for God. As long as he stands for freedom, he stands with God. And were he to stand alone, he would still stand with God. Any man will be eternally vindicated and rewarded for his stand for freedom."

I attended the rally, and it was dissappointing.
There were about 3,500 present. Most distressing, several thousand did not come, because they were told they would not be welcome with Confederate flags.
This is a classic 10th Amendment question: Whether the States, or the Federal government, is sovereign? The organisers were too shortsighted, and bigoted, to recognise the question.
The question faced by Alabama on Wednesday, is the same question faced by our ancestors in 1860. Do we have a "division of powers" or is the Federal Government a tyranny?
Sadly, the organisers missed the question.
In Columbia, January of 2000, we had over 10,000 participants. Had the venue been framed to allow Southern activists to participate, the 3,500 could have swelled to 13,500.
The South is still the "Bible Belt", and we wear that label with pride. Just don't tell us that we can't define ourselves with our own flag.

Well, well, well! Savage interviewed Judge Roy Moore last night. They talked about the rally. Moore is calling for prayer. Savage is fired up, raising funds for the 10 Commandments [legal] Defense Fund.
