Because it would have been easy for the government or whoever to telephone all those friends, family members, telephone operators, pretending to be people aboard the flight, describing the scene, talking about the uprising, saying "let's roll" and so forth, even as fighter interceptors were shooting flight 93 out of the sky. Grow up - the original story is a myth. The passengers did try to overtake the hijackers, I don't doubt that, but they never made it, and failed. It was worth a shot, but a movie catch-phrase and a battle in the cockpit never happened.
