The use of the term "murdered" is curious. Suppose he was killed by a prehistoric version of the FBI or the BATF or the Las Vegas police. Would it then be murder or would it be a "good shoot?"

Must be a slow news day at USA Today. This info has been "out there" in various stories. Even The Discovery Channel revealed this information -- last year. Somebody needs to define "news" for the editors at USA Today.

But a new team said Monday that Otzi's case instead has become the world's oldest, and coldest, murder case.

How is this possible??? Had guns been invented, yet???

Tenacious police work! Hope they get the perp before he leaves the country! Close the airports!

Has anyone told PETA about the bear skin cap and shoes? They will need time to mourn. Too bad the Ice Man is deceased though. Guess they'll have to convict him of Bear Murder Posthumously. Is there no justice for bears in this world? Sob!

I've followed the story on the Iceman for years.

Just add all the evidence.
1- He had an arrowhead lodged in his back. Probably took that running away.
2- His good arrows were already shot so he broke his bow over someone's head.
3- Deathgrip on his last weapon, his knife.
4- His "manhood" was missing. (The point at which he gave in to death.)

I conclude that he was an Austrian who'd got caught in the "act" with some Italian's wife. :)

Convene Greta and the rest of the Fox News legal team - we need some rolling graphics and wall to wall "Murdered Iceman" coverage.

If Geragos isn't defending, he can be a panel member.

Also, we need to have some virulent flamewars and bannings over who the real killer was.....

I told ya' so.

Otzi (not what we called him) got what was coming to him.

Can Muttly have his great-great-great...Grandfather's Owner's hat back now ? I suppose the booze and stew is all gone too...that crumb.

Just goes ta' show ya', never play cards and drink with a wandering Used-Arrow salesman.
