"It's great to start with one false premise, buttress that with another and then support that one with yet another and it all adds up to a good laugh! (as I am looking at the webs of my fingers & toes!)" Not sure which side of the argument you are on. I note that the above could be applied to either side, though.
I tend to side with the scientists, but sometimes I figure the conclusions they draw are pretty tenuous.
