Good actor? Well I guess I missed that movie.Obviously all a matter of opinion, but I thought his work in Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, and What's Eating Gilbert Grape was quite good. That said, I still think he's a pompous jerk
Agreed, Depp is a very good actor, far better than most of the Ben Affleck types who show no range. Depp picks interesting roles and quirky characters.
Also agreed he is a foolish pothead.
