Affleck is a good smart-ass writer. Dogma is a good example.
He reminds me of a guy who couldn't get laid as a teen and became quite bitter about it. All that bitter energy was placed into writing smart-ass scripts. Being a smart-ass at 25 is OK. It just becomes self limiting. And now that he's getting laid he's got no creative juices.
I'm glad to see Matt Damon distance himself from Affleck.

Affleck is a good smart-ass writer. Dogma is a good example.Dogma was written and directed by Kevin Smith. Affleck just starred in it. Affleck did co-write Good Will Hunting, which was good smart-ass writing.

Reminds me of that "Seinfeld" where Constanza gave up sex and became a genius. Claimed to discover "absolute zero" and gave batting tips to Derek Jeter.
