Curious timing on this decision. One day after the big Davis-Clinton minority kiss fest!

That was my first thought. If you listened to Clinton's speech in Iowa the other day it was all about the Florida elections. For the last two days they've been playing the disenfranchisement card.

this is good for all. The "we're not gonna take it" anthem just struck an even deeper chord now that the rats'court wants to block the citizens' will.

If you listen to George Will, tho, you might actually hope they cancel it altogether. If would be ideal to have california seething in anger over Davis during the 2004 election season rather than having them just amused over the replacement or worse, slipping back into normalcy after a bustamonte triumph and hispanic giveaway raft.

I hope this just blows up in their faces - I don't care whose, so long as it helps the republicans.
