Didn't test the equipment yet. (But I'm gonna have to hurry because this pound cake is "evaporating" fast!) ;)

I just mixed up some veggie salad and one of the carrots either looks like Pac Man or a goldfish, I can't decide. So I had to take pictures, of course. Now I just have to get 'em from the camera to the 'puter.

I'm not eating any pasta these days, I'm on a low carbohydrate diet. Even before I started the low carbo thing, I wasn't a big macaroni and cheese fan ~ my departed MIL loved it, so we fixed it once in a while for her. :)

I'm a red meat guy, with pork, a little poultry and a little shellfish thrown in ~ I rarely have a meal that doesn't have meat in it. :)

Last evening news: 2 gentlemen claim to have been the founders of Talk Like a Pirate Day, which was codified 8 years ago. They claim that they invented the day from idle banter while playing racquetball. In closing they remind the public that the day is titled Talk Like a Pirate Day, not "act" like a pirate day!
