Encouraging and Harboring Illegal Aliens

It is a violation of law for any person to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection in any place, including any building or means of transportation, any alien who is in the United States in violation of law. HARBORING MEANS ANY CONDUCT THAT TENDS TO SUBSTANTIALLY FACILITATE AN ALIEN TO REMAIN IN THE U.S. ILLEGALLY. The sheltering need not be clandestine, and harboring covers aliens arrested outdoors, as well as in a building. This provision includes harboring an alien who entered the U.S. legally but has since lost his legal status.

Encourage Federal Action Against Illegal Aliens
Participating in National "Freedom Ride" - Given that participants may be comprised of significant numbers of illegal aliens, it would be logical to expect
federal immigration enforcement authorities' actions to
identify, detain and begin proceedings for deportation
of any such aliens. However, experience suggests it
would be wrong to expect any reaction that might be
termed "anti-immigrant."

You can encourage federal immigration enforcement
authorities to do their job by calling your senators and
representative as well as the Department of Homeland
Security to demand that enforcement authorities identify
and arrest any illegal aliens in this group.

We represent Border Patrol Agents and other employees in the Tucson Sector of the U.S. Border Patrol, covering most of the State of Arizona. This website is maintained for our Union members, but based on the feedback received by the Local 2544 President it is obvious that the site is heavily used by a wide variety of government employees, retired Border Patrol agents, media, and private citizens. Our members are a diverse work group, comprised of people from all walks of life. We believe it is important for you to understand that we support legal immigration. However, the American taxpayers pay us to stop illegal immigration. Although it may appear to the uninformed party that we are hard on certain politicians and pro-illegal alien activists, everyone should understand that we have a hard job to do and some of these people make our jobs even harder with the positions they take. We are staunchly against any form of "amnesty" to reward illegal aliens for sneaking into this country. It makes us wonder why we risk our lives to stop them in the first place. Currently, no portion of this site is restricted. We are proud of the work we do on behalf of our members. We welcome your comments.

Would the firefighters' union spend its members' dues money to support arsonists? Of course not. There would be an uproar from the firefighters because arsonists commit criminal acts which endanger the firefighters' lives.

The AFL/CIO, in what can only be termed a total disgrace and an insult to our Union and every Border Patrol agent in this country, is using our funds to support illegal aliens and radical pro-illegal immigration groups.

Getting to the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island
Circle Line’s ferries take passengers for $10, roundtrip, from either Battery Park at the southern tip of Manhattan or from Liberty State Park in New Jersey in Jersey City , New Jersey . You may go to this web site and prepay tickets: www.circlelineferries.com. But that is NOT a reservation according to Circle Lines. It is still first come , first served. But it is unlikely the boat will be full according to the Park Service.

Those coming to Statue of Liberty from Battery Park, Manhattan :

Boats leave Manhattan on the hour and half hour. Try to take the 1:00 p.m. boat to arrive at 1:30 .

Those coming from Liberty State Park (Parking is $5)
The Park Service officials assured me that the illegal alien bus riders, if they do have a permit to demonstrate in Liberty State Park, will not be allowed anywhere near the ferry landing. Liberty State park has almost 1200 acres or 2 square miles of land along the bay. It is BIG, so we will not have a conflict.
October 3 Friday Depart Liberty State Park on the 1:00 pm sailing for Liberty Island via Ellis Island .
October 4 Saturday Depart Liberty St Park at 12:45 pm sailing for Liberty Island via Ellis Island .
Circle Lines Ferries can change the schedule at anytime, so check the sailing times when you arrive.

If you plan to put a camera on a tripod you will need a permit for the tripod. Call (212) 363-3206, Ext 107 to get the permit.
All Persons are subject to search.
