Actually, I am real friendly, as long as people don't move to where I live and try telling me I have to live like them. You are making some mighty big assumptions for a friendly guy, but I will take you at your word that your are friendly.

I was under the impression the illegal part was an action taken by Cruz himself. I think he diverted campaign contributions for Prop 54 or something to that effect.

Last time I went through Oklahoma I saw a lot of illegals. I was very surprised.

I only wish I had more time to enjoy the California psychosis. Even with arianna the GAP out of the race - it's got to be an absolute riot keeping up with some of the bizarre folks out there.
Not that we don't have our share back east...But gosh - Grey Davis is really wierd.

The Reconquista types like to pretend this land was theirs but they never made it this far north. I don't think the Aztecs made it much further than the southern parts of AZ and NM.
California was not hospitable to settlement. Except for the various explorers who set up settlements along the coast, most of California was inhabited by dozens of North American Indian tribes. That is, until the Gold Rush.

As more and more cross into TX, those who came before are pushed northward.

The law was written that way to prevent just the kind of foul play you suggest.
Once the recall election is certified, there is nothing the recallee can do to stop it. Essentially it becomes a new election for governor regardless of the state of the current governorship.

The tripling of auto taxes on Oct. 1 coming just six days before the recall electon insures that the recall will succeed. Davis can do no more to stop it than King Canute could stop the ebb and flow of the tides. The only way to beat Schwarzenegger now is for all the leading opponents to withdraw and support McClintock!

Now, panic isn't a real confidence-building trait, it it? Poor pathetic losahs.
To: DB
I see. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
To: Cobra64
Yep....indeed we do...but from the rumor mill here in California...Cruz is ready to pull out. The news is expected to break either today or tomorrow. Watch for it.
