Fox News reports Tuesday evening that Democrats in California are panicking as the Governors recall race goes to down to the wire. The cable network also reports that fierce infighting has developed between Gov. Gray Davis and recall candidate Lt. Governor Cruz Bustamante.
The Davis camp is encouraging Bustamante to withdraw from the race.
According to sources, Davis polls show that if Bustamante pulls out, support for the recall would drop ten points.
Bustamante, meanwhile, is frantically trying to raise $1 million before the last weekend TV blitz -- but is getting stiff resistance from wealthy Democrats.
Fox says the Davis camp has been urging Democratic donors not to give to the Bustamante campaign.

Are you ready for this? Things keep getting better and better. No soap opera could equal this.

It would make for a Saturday Tonight Show vignette to remember.

Davis is a self-centered, egotistical moron.
What truly amazes me is that if a Republican was as openly corrupt as Davis while he sells goverment services for votes, the Democrats would demand he be roasted in hell itself.
If hypocrisy of the Democrats was cash, we could wipe out the federal debt.

No body likes Davis and even Democrats loathe him. Its amazing he's Govenor at all and the just released Los Angeles Times poll, he continues to rack up unpredecented unfavorability and personal disapproval ratings unheard of for an incumbent. Stick a fork in him, he's toast.

According to KFI's John & Ken, ole Cruz hasn't been seen on the campaign circuit in 3 days!
Furthermore, when Doofus-Doltus was asked to endorse Cruz at a rally Monday night (maybe it was Sunday night) he refused!

I expect Cruz The Snooze's support to plummet once its clear to his supporters he's thrown in the towel. That may be the best news of this recall election!

According to KFI's John & Ken, ole Cruz hasn't been seen on the campaign circuit in 3 days! If he is gone, why are the showing his commerical over and over and over - the one with his family in the kitchen?

Bwahahaha!! Think I'll celebrate by going to...
Recall Gray Davis
And when I get there, I think I'll punch that big red button that says "contribute!"

Its for show - like the Wizard of Oz. You know he looks like he has imposing strength but is actually a weak man. Every one knows Large Breasts isn't all that a ponderous campaigner despite his intimidating size.

Must be the first case of political coitus interruptus of the 21st century. I don't think it'll go over too well in San Francisco. ;-)

I understand that it was no secret that Davis and Cruz never liked each other (couldn't stand each other).
It is amusing, but not entirely surprising that they are undercutting each other, but Busty started it by jumping into the race, destroying Davis' attempt to paint the recall as a GOP hostile takeover.

The best cruz commerical is the one with a collection of changing crowd shots cheering him on. There is a shot of a young female supporter in the foreground and behind her is a guy standing waving a flag...it is the mecha flag. I could not believe my eyes when I finally realized what the flag was.
