I don't know, but I would expect that missiles would have serial numbers or other markings that would allow them to be individually identified. Shouldn't be too hard for the French (or U.S.) to determine who they were supposed to have been sold to.

How very convient that they were destroyed before any of this could be determined.

Unfortunately, the Poles destroyed the Missiles, and there is no 'evidence' left.
