thanks, I looked at the sites. I got the impesssion the gubmint is trying to legislate common sense.
My gut feeling tells me that park rangers don't want to have to enforce stupid laws. So if a guy is CCW for legitimate reasons, such as self defense from bears, i suspect park rangers are not going to make a big deal out of it. I'm speaking in general terms here. I noticed that in Alaska, most fed parks allow firearms for self defense.
