Did you hear John Kerry's tasteless, classless line about this in the debate last night? What a loser.

He said the only two places to get prescription drugs was something like the pharmacy and Rush Limbaugh's housekeeper
Something about how you could get your prescription drugs from Rush's housekeeper.
That's because it was all accusations.
You and I could make up accusations in the here and now of this thread. We might even get a bit of ride out of them, but at the end of the day....they'd just be accusations.
I hope that rush spends his time on the demoRAT shirt sleeve rolling contest. I dont wanna hear about his personal problem (not that I dont care). But it is a personal problem (if its a problem at all) and he should not have to deal with it in the harsh light of the media.
It's tough enough if he is dealing with a genuine addiction to a prescription pharmacuticle without having to deal with the demoRATs and their incessant Whining!
Pretty cheezy. I can't believe the Democrat presidential wannabes, guys who would like to occupy the world's most powerful political office, are sniping at a talkshow host, a glorified disk jockey, calling him out by name. If you ask me, it lowers them and raises Rush.
Could we start something on Al Franken? Oh wait, that would be wrong....I don't know what came over me.....momentary temptation....
I heard Rush say that he may have his brother on the show also to talk about his new book, "Persecution".

As a conservative who has known Rush for many years, I will only offer this: Rush does not abuse drugs of any sort and any rumors that he has are simply not true.
I have discussed at length over the past week the rumors and the press story and unfortunately for the Enquirer, Rush will ultimately be very wealthy and a news editor of sorts come 6 mos. from now.
The bottom line is that there is an agenda here, and we are trying to figure out exactly why and what we are dealing with.

Of course they are scared. Se my previous comments on this issue. I have known Rush for years and we have spoken at length on this over the past week. The allegations are baseless and Rush will be vindicated.

I am not his therapist, but I do think Rush can make his own decisions on the subject.
Are you a listener? Have you ever spoken to the man? I am just curious as to the basis for why you are so adament that you are right. Your belief is that Rush abuses prescription drugs and has purchased them via a housekeeper for the past 10 years.
I am curious. . . Besides the Nat. Enquirer, what are your sources?

No gig here. Just a guy who knows the man and I guess has a reason to want to protect him.
Radio is a great thing and talk radio is an even more powerful thing. Rush has touched me personally over the years and to a certain degree taken on a "grandfatherly" quality.
I am just a little curious, would you lay down in the face of false accusations against your family, if someone was attacking with no regard to truth and consequence?
When allegations are proved to be false, what normally happens? People say things like "yes he got off, but is he really innocent?"
The bottom line is that my gig is that the accusation often times in larger than the actual TRUTH. People believe what they want and perception is reality.
Perhaps, I am taking a play out of your party's handbook in saying that if you repeat it enough it must be true. If the left is going to be slanderous, I am going to speak on his defense!
