Damn right! Note that his admission is not that he had done anything illegal - only that he was addicted to prescription pain killers. There are those who insist that the source of the drugs is key. Until his lawyer gives him the OK to open up about that, I'd say that the point is not paramount; his good health is.

My back was injured some years back when someone ran a stop sign and smashed into the car I was driving. I had lower back pain and sciatica. The doctors gave me percodan. Great stuff! After a couple of weeks I was about to take another pill, I looked at it and the rest of them and flushed the stuff. Never took another or any pain pill again.
