Like you I felt that his not just outright denying the claim that there must be something to the story. Of course, one didn't need to be a senior investigator to figure out by Rush's own statements that somethings was way wrong. All that talk about he couldn't say a word regarding this was all BS.
That being said, I hope he kicks his drug habit.....

How the hell can he kick it? If he's truly in as much pain as he says there is no other treatment. That's it baby. Either you suffer your a.. off or you stay lit up on pain blockers. Problem is they whack out your liver and some say your hearing. But that's all the docs know to do when surgery cannot correct the problem. It's called pain management and it's prescribed for constantly.

Sorry - Doctors today and in the past have given subscriptions with sufficient refills to addict many folks. Possibly he should not have spoken about drug users for so long that all should be behind bars! However, as a drug rehab professional, I have seen this too many times created by the medical community - then they cut them off. I assume this is what happened to Rush.
