We built the stadiums. We built the hotels. We built the convention center. We still lost people Do you think the high taxes required to build all those things, had anything to do with people leaving?

No kidding. The hotels and the convention centers--those aren't used by locals. They're for attracting out-of-towners. And the stadiums? $50 to $100 a ticket to see overpaid, pampered "professional" athletes? Get real. Your tax dollars at work.
